It has come to my attention that Pointy Nails are making somewhat of a come back. Many celebrities have opted for the claws to come out. Try it out and see how you like it, even though square is the healthier shape for most nails.
The Half Moon Mani or Ruffian is a popular look for quirking up the digits also, it involves painting the half moons of your nails a contrasting colour, or leaving them bare. Play around with different colours and have fun!
Graphic Nails have hit the scene with all sorts of patters and colours, detailing the nails intricately. Its a breath of fresh air to see nail art swooping the runways and woman who dare to funk up their nails.
Metaillic and Glitter nails are also coming back
with a more roughed up look, putting gold metallic's over dark bases giving a more rustic twist.
Nudes and Barely There nails are big this Spring 2011 showing in many different designers shows. These tones are great for a fresh minimal effort manicure. Most definitely a low maintenance option.
For Neon Nails think pop art for the hands. Complete an outfit magically this spring with splashes of brights and team with denim or Maxi dresses. They go with every skin tone so dont be shy. Go one step further and paint your toes too for that extra pop out effect.
