Fashion powerhouse Kenzo, debuted a preview of their ready to wear fall/winter collection. In figurative terms, the destination for the new collection was India. "It's one of my favourite places" said Leon. It consists of exotic prints combined with innovative yet timeless silhouettes. Carol Lim and Humberto Leon never cease to to amaze with their attention to detail. Metallics, multicolour ribbon prints, crocodile lamé and gilded jacquards in glossy red or royal blue, evoked the maximalist spirit for which India is known.

The clothes in the collection prevailed themselves as cross-draped shift dresses, skirts, suits with round volumes, men's overcoats, boxy tops tucked into skinny and cigarette legged pants. The structured lines combined with sari-like draping really emphasised the Far Eastern shapes. It had a pan-Asiatic flair that is in line with the label's roots and trends we've seen across both continents. Still keeping the 'Tiger' theme strong with a matching brocade set, with gold embellished tigers running throughout. The all seeing 'eye' capsule motif is also coming through as the next image, shown as another bold print scattered on jumpers, skirts and purses.
